Elliott Museum- Stuart, FL

The Elliott Museum is absolutely worth the drive from Palm Beach County.  Perfectly situated near Stuart Beach you can plan a day of learning and exploration with some beach time.  While you can learn a lot by walking around and speaking to the volunteers in each exhibit.  I highly recommend a docent led tour to learn even more tidbits.  Some of the highlights from our visit included viewing a wonderful collection of antique cars, learning about Florida's own bank robbery family, discovering the true native ancestors of this great state and visiting the general store.  If you are a New York Yankee fan, there is a special exhibit that you will not want to miss.
