Recently, federal lawmakers have been considering legislation that would clarify how homeschool diplomas are recognized for things like federal student aid, employment, and enrollment in certain programs.
Because this topic can impact the future pathways available to homeschool learners, I thought it would be helpful to share this update. My goal is simply to keep homeschool families informed about developments that may affect homeschool graduates and the opportunities available to them.

Issues That Impact Homeschool Families
Homeschooling does not happen in a vacuum. From legislation and educational policy to community changes that affect access and opportunity, there are issues that families should be aware of—even if they choose not to take immediate action. This section exists to share information, context, and resources so you can stay informed and decide what matters most for your family and your learner. My goal is not to persuade, but to provide awareness as part of a well-supported homeschool journey. |
